CHINAPLAS 2024, the International Exhibition on Plastics and Rubber, will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai Hongqiao) from April 23rd to 26th.

1. Materials and Modified Materials
Materials serve as the foundation for numerous application developments. At this exhibition, eSUN will showcase materials such as Polylactic Acid (PLA), Polycaprolactone (PCL), biodegradable modified materials, and color masterbatch materials.
2.PLA Fiber Non-woven Fabric and Applications
Polylactic acid fiber and its nonwoven fabric combine the advantages of natural fibers and synthetic fibers, possessing a weak acidity similar to human skin, naturally skin-friendly, antibacterial, anti-mite, anti-allergic, with good moisture permeability, smoothness, breathability, and lustrous appearance. Additionally, textile products made from polylactic acid fiber have the characteristic of being self-extinguishing, ensuring high safety in use. In the context of global carbon reduction and sustainable development, polylactic acid fibers and non-woven fabrics are attracting increasing attention from people worldwide.
Lactic acid fiber and its non-woven fabric can be widely used in sanitary materials, clothing fabrics, home textiles, toy stuffing, and medical supplies.
3. Biodegradable Tableware and Packaging Applications
eSUN's biodegradable tableware and packaging applications can be broadly categorized into several types: paper-based applications, blown film applications, injection molding applications, and sheet applications.
Among them, eSUN's biodegradable coated paper for food packaging adapted pure PLA material for processing, making it 100% bio-based with no other additives. This product has passed FDA certification, European DIN biodegradability certification, American BPI certification, and food-grade certification. In daily life, PLA coated paper can be widely used in the production of various types of products, such as cold (hot) beverage cups, coffee cups, soup bowls, paper plates, meal boxes, and food packaging products.
Additionally, eSUN's biodegradable blown film materials, injection molding materials, sheet materials, and straw materials can be widely used in the production of disposable biodegradable tableware and packaging bags.
4. Green Solvents
Lactate esters are ester derivatives of lactic acid produced by the fermentation of carbohydrates such as sugars. They are colorless clear liquids, slightly odorous, soluble in most organic solvents, and miscible in water. eSUN's lactate ester raw materials are renewable, biodegradable, environmentally friendly, and safe products. Additionally, they possess characteristics such as high boiling points, low volatility, and pleasant odor. They also exhibit good viscosity and permeability, with excellent wetting capabilities. With high purity and a small molecular structure, lactate ester is an excellent raw material for synthetic intermediates, reducing reaction chains and improving yields.
◇Custom synthesis is available for Isopropyl Lactate, Isobutyl Lactate, and other Lactate Esters.
eSUN's lactate ester series products can be applied in coatings, inks, graffiti removers, bio-solvents, cosmetics, petroleum extraction, pharmaceutical and pesticide intermediate synthesis, electronics, food, and soil improvement. In 2023, eSUN's lactate esters obtained EU and UK REACH certification certificates.
