Techtextil 2024|eSUNFiber makes its international debut,Eco-fibers bright the public's view

From April 23-26, the world-leading textile and nonwoven fabric exhibition—Techtextil 2024 Frankfurt Nonwovens and Technical Textiles Exhibition was grandly held!

This display marked the first international professional exhibition appearance for eSUNFiber. After four days of communication and exchange, PLA fibers and non-woven fabrics have further entered the view of audiences and manufacturers, garnering numerous accolades from within and outside the industry, laying a solid foundation for developing the PLA fibers and non-woven fabric business.

At the exhibition, eSUNFiber showcased a series of eco-friendly, sustainable fiber products, as well as different specifications of yarns, fabrics, non-woven materials, and application cases. These products not only possess excellent physical properties but are also biodegradable, meeting the urgent needs of today's society for environmental protection and sustainable development.

PLA fiber and PLA non-woven fabric can be widely used in sanitary materials, clothing fabrics, home textiles, toy stuffing, and medical supplies.

1.The company's leading and distinctive product, the PLA Bi-component Staple, received significant attention

At this exhibition, eSUNFiber's PLA Bi-component Staple with a core-sheath structure garnered significant attention. Its combination with natural fibers such as hemp, cotton, and wool and regenerated cellulosic fibers like viscose, lyocell, modal, and bamboo fiber, replacing conventional low-melting-point polyester fibers and ES fibers in the non-woven field, achieves complete material degradability. It provides a reliable solution for upgrading and replacing related products, becoming a highlight in the application of PLA fibers. The product was highly praised at the exhibition!

2.The application of PLA fibers and non-woven fabrics in the sanitary materials direction has a good development prospect

PLA fibers and non-woven fabric products have good biocompatibility, dryness, moisture permeability, antibacterial and deodorizing properties, and biodegradability. On the one hand, they can meet the requirements of medical and sanitary products for skin-friendly comfort and antibacterial odorlessness, suitable for people prone to allergies. On the other hand, their biodegradability addresses the issue of 'white pollution' caused by disposable medical and sanitary products. Therefore, applying PLA non-woven fabrics in the direction of sanitary materials is widely recognized and praised.

In addition, the application of PLA fibers in apparel fabrics and yarns is continuously being explored and developed. Products made of 100% PLA materials, such as quilts and blankets, have obvious advantages in antibacterial and anti-mite properties and anti-allergy; PLA T-shirts, pajamas, etc., are skin-friendly, smooth, breathable, and provide an excellent experience.

eSUNFiber's polylactic acid fiber and non-woven fabric have successfully passed the compost degradation testing certification by DIN CERTCO (German Institute for Standardization). Regarding product safety, eSUNFiber's polylactic acid non-woven fabric has passed skin sensitization tests, ensuring the product's safety performance. Additionally, through professional testing, eSUNFiber's polylactic acid fiber has demonstrated effective antibacterial properties.
