This article will focus on the application of PLA nonwoven fabrics in the packaging of electronic products.

Ⅰ. Advantages of Polylactic Acid (PLA) Nonwoven Fabrics

From a comprehensive perspective, PLA nonwoven fabrics, as packaging materials, not only exhibit excellent biodegradability but also possess outstanding mechanical properties. They perform well in terms of compression resistance, impact resistance, shock absorption, and scratch protection. In addition, they have a soft texture, are lint-free, and help maintain the aesthetic appeal of products without affecting the consumer experience.

PLA fibers can be used not only for product packaging but also to produce PLA padding, which provides cushioning and shock protection for products. PLA fibers can be blended with other cellulose fibers (such as bamboo or viscose fibers), which helps to reduce costs while maintaining the full degradability of the packaging. Moreover, this blending can enhance the functional properties of the packaging to meet the demands of various application scenarios.
