On November 1, 2024, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the Key Laboratory of Engineering Plastics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Sun Yat-sen University, Wuhan Textile University, and Shenzhen Esun Industrial Co., Ltd. (brand "eSUN") officially signed an agreement to establish the "Fiber Innovation and Sustainable Materials Joint Research Center."

On December 9, professors Wang Xun and Wang Jinfen from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Wuhan Textile University visited EsunFiber (Suzhou) Co., Ltd.(hereinafter "eSUNFiber") for inspection and guidance.

In the context of sustainable development, the "greening" trend has also reached the textile industry. Polylactic Acid (PLA) fiber, known as an "eco-fiber," combines the advantages of natural fibers and synthetic fibers. It possesses multiple features such as skin-friendly, antibacterial, quick-drying, thermal insulation, flame retardancy, and biodegradability, offering environmentally friendly and diverse solutions for the fiber and textile industry.

eSUNFiber has accumulated rich experience in the R&D, production, and application of PLA fibers. Moving forward, eSUNFiber will actively promote the construction of the Joint Research Center project to foster the green and healthy development of the fiber and textile industry.
